Sierra Blue was born at the intersection of two worlds. Our name honors the rugged resilience of California’s Sierra Nevada and the enduring beauty of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Parkway that demand toughness and adaptability. Inspired by this, we left Silicon Valley to return to India with a singular mission: To build technology that works where the real world happens, outside the data center.
We saw that critical industries like Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Surveillance were operating in the dark, relying on manual devices or dumb motion sensors. We changed the paradigm by engineering One Hardware Core: Infinite Personas. Our platform adapts to the requirements of the industry while delivering the sophistication of LLMs. From mapping potholes in cities, precise estimation of crop yields for farmers to filtering false security alarms in low-light conditions, we convert physical inputs into generative intelligence, bringing clarity to the chaotic edge.

Sourav Co-Founder & Product
Sourav is the bridge between the lab and commercial scale. With 9 years of industry experience including 6 years driving growth at a Silicon Valley startup, Sourav knows how to turn frontier technology into revenue. He played a key role in scaling a platform from $0 to $30M+ revenue and holds 14 U.S. patents. Combining the engineering rigor of UPenn and Stanford with the agility of the Valley, Sourav is now architecting the neural edge at SierraBlue.
Ankita Co-Founder & Science
Ankita grounds AI in physical reality. While others build for chatbots, Ankita, who is a gold medallist from IISER, builds for the physical world. With a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia specializing in Computer Vision and Plant Phenotyping, she is the scientific anchor of SierraBlue. She translates abstract research into rugged operational frameworks, ensuring our "Universal Core" delivers metrology-grade precision—whether it's scanning a paddy field or securing an institution campus.
